This page explains how the Guaglio website and platform use cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make websites work, to keep them secure, and to help us understand how the service is used.
The Guaglio platform uses a minimal set of cookies, focused on functionality and security. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| gt (sessionStorage) | Stores your authentication token after sign-in. Required for the platform to work. | Essential | Browser session |
| gu (sessionStorage) | Stores basic user profile information (email) for display in the interface. | Essential | Browser session |
| Stripe cookies | Set by Stripe during payment processing if you subscribe to a paid plan. Used for fraud prevention and payment security. | Essential (third party) | Varies (set by Stripe) |
| Google Fonts | Fonts are loaded from Google CDN. Google may set cookies or collect access logs when fonts are requested. | Functional (third party) | Varies (set by Google) |
The Guaglio platform uses browser sessionStorage rather than traditional cookies for authentication. SessionStorage data is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab and is not sent to the server with every request. This approach provides better privacy than persistent cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies or sessionStorage, the platform may not function properly and you may not be able to sign in.
For information about managing cookies in your browser, visit your browser help pages or allaboutcookies.org.
If we introduce new cookies or change how we use them, we will update this page and note the date of the change.
